Loftstua is a Spartan Company/Clan of active Halo players in the HaloNorge community. We are competitive players and casual gamers, young guns and old guns. The one thing we all have in common: Everybody loves Halo.

Loftstua goes way back, but it wasn’t until we started a Spartan Company that we began to get known within the community.

The History of Loftstua:

It all started back in 2002, when Fjolsen (the founder of Loftstua) was grinding the campaign of Halo:CE in his second floor living room (aka. Loftstua). He told all his friends that this game was the bomb and that they should get themselves an Xbox. However, they all got themselves Playstation 2 or Gamecube (Babyberg) instead. So, from that moment Loftstua became a gathering place to all his friends for playing Halo. Rocking the DUKE controller in FFA custom game or coop in the campaign.

When Halo 2 came out with the new ability to play ONLINE with Xbox Live, Fjolsen started to tell people who wanted to play Halo in his Loftstua that he’d rather they joined him over Xbox Live. Finally, when Xbox 360 and Halo 3 came around, people started to buy themselves an Xbox. Because everyone did know how good Halo3 was gonna be. Loftstua then became the place where people got together for LAN parties, and there sure were a lot of them!

With the arrival of Halo:Reach, Halo 4 and MCC the group that had gathered in Loftstua started to get smaller and many players in the community stopped playing. At this point, Fjolsen and his duo Babyberg started the Loftstua Spartan Company in Halo 5 with two other good friends VikingPoowaH and AssessedGrub. Their goal was to find all the Norwegian Halo players who were still playing and invite them to the group. And, we sure did find some awesome people out there. People who were still holding on as lone wolves or in groups of friends, joined Loftsuta and got a place where they could belong. Loftstua started to grow and became more then what we could ever have hoped for. It became a community of friends, where no one cared if you were a noob at the game.

Loftstua is always looking to expand, to find new players. This is what this site is all about: Showing our love for Halo and finding new interesting people to share it with. A big shout out to Thats Snuffles for working long and hard to get this site up and running. To date, we are the biggest fully Norwegian Spartan Company out there.

To join the group, you must be Norwegian and occasionally online. Go to our contact us page to get in touch with us.

We have also arranged a tournament for the community and are looking forward to do so again. Stay tuned on the HaloNorge community Facebook site for info on the next tournament.
